Today this Thursday,we are learning that we have just made a new dish called apple crumble while the others are at Tamaki college with Mr.Grundy and at band with Caleb.

This term that we had,has been interesting to learn about the technological world.

So first step,we wash our hands before we start cooking and peeling apples with the peeler.

And after we're done mix the ingredients and chop and peel the apples,we put them in the microwave.

Today this Tuesday again while the others are at Rainbow's End,we've just finished doing in Maths,Screencastifying the Math problems.

Today this Tuesday,we've just visited to Harold's house to study about the body system while the other students are already at Rainbow's End.

So as we continue learning the body system in Harold's house,we start knowing the parts of the respiratory

system.

Then,we start watching a short clip of the respiratory system about the dangers of illegal drugs and the only one thing I like about is to study the parts of the respiratory system.

Today this Monday after kiwisportz,we've just studied in Kami about the pest problem in New Zealand.

So Ms.Komor told us to read the Kami how technology helps to keep the environment free from pests.

And as what Ms.Komor said to us,we've learned that technology really proves that it can help the entire environment free from pests here in New Zealand.

Brownies

Today this Thursday at Tamaki college,we just made another new dish called chocolate brownies.

So before we start making it,we just need to follow some few instructions and listen to the steps.

So first,we put 1c of plain flour and 1tsp of baking powder.

Then,we put 1/4c of cocoa and 2tbsp of coconut powder.

Then,we put 1/2c of brown sugar and 125g of butter (melted microwave-1 mins 10 sec).

Then,we put 1 egg and 1tbsp of vanilla essence and we mix them all in a bowl.

And finally,we bake the brownies in the oven with the temperature 180*.

And there you have it guys,that is how we make our very own chocolate brownies.Thank you!!!!!!

Figurative Language (Hailstones)

Walt:Figurative Language (Hailstones)

As we just look outside the window today

this Tuesday,we have just observed the raindrops that has been raining this time again.

So first,we have to study with figurative language about it and we noticed a few interesting things about the hailstones that's has been raining this day.

 Then,we can also hear or see the hailstones falling from the sky.We can see that the hailstones look like a lot of little raindrops.

Then,we can also hear the sound that the thunder just made like the sound of crash,ripple,rattle or any kinds of sounds the thunder has made.

So,we learn that the hailstones are very cold,wet and like white frozen peas and it can also create a lot of water if it melts.

And there you have it guys,that's how we observed the hailstones outside of the rain by figurative language.Thank you!!!!!

Athletics Reflection

Walt:Athletics Reflection

Last week on Friday,we had a wonderful day called Athletics Day here in TPS and we also we went to our houses to gather up and practice our house chant.

So first,we try practicing the field events like the discuss,standing jump,long jump and shot put.

Then,we went to our house tents to present our house chant and we entered the 50m,100m,75m and the 400m race.

Then,we buy some free sausage sizzle and ice blocks or family picnics after we won some events in Athletics Day.

And finally,we present our house chant again and before we went home,we put everything back inside the school and that is why I love the Athletics Day here in Tamaki Primary School this year.

And there you have it again guys,that is how we enter this year's Athletics Day and it show us good sportsmanship,growth mindset,house team participation,good effort,whanau,determination.

Today this Tuesday,we did our Maths after morning tea.So before we begin doing our Maths,we need to follow some instructions about it.

So in our Maths lesson called Dealing with Decimals,we learned that we to put the number that will add or subtract the decimals so that the answer will become the same.

Also after we finish our Maths lesson called Dealing with Decimals,we just move on to next part of our Maths subject.
